Where you can focus on your family, and not your cover school.
Why not allow your child(ren) to earn credits during all of their summer activities? Don't wait until August to enroll, When everyday that you're teaching your child can be used towards your required 140 days!! ( Day trips to the river, state parks, family home place, etc. Anywhere can turn into a small lesson!) We strongly support "Un-schooling" !! We can only give credit for Summer days when you're enrolled with AHA during them. Another perk of enrolling now, think of all the extra time you'll have between today & May 31st 2017 to take that random family adventure without stressing to school your children. No more worrying that you will not have enough days at the end of the school year.
Alabama Hope Academy is very happy and thankful for being one of the oldest church cover schools in the state of Alabama. We provide covering for the entire state of Alabama. "Cover" School means we are your school. We provide transcripts, and diplomas to our graduating members. Once you withdraw your child from public school and enroll with us you will no longer be part of public school system at all. You will only follow Alabama Hope Academy requirements rules etc. We do NOT require any statement of faith, or any particular study curriculum. But we do have helpful links to ones we have used ourselves, and like.
We have not had any dispute, disagreement, or problem at all with any superintendent in the entire state of Alabama for many many years.
We have never had any college, military branch, or employer refuse our transcript or diploma. (Parent must make sure we have correct grades, info, etc., for such)
We are located in North East Alabama in the county of Dekalb.
If you live anywhere in the state of Alabama you may enroll with us. We are a Christian based cover school, And welcome all! No religion requirements to join.
Homeschoolers can now be legally enrolled with AHA within minutes. Legal parent/guardian clicks enroll button, pays with credit or debit card. ( You're legally covered by AHA at this point) Next Enrollment Forms are emailed to you as soon as I receive payment confirmation , You fill out your enrollment forms online. Print and save to your PC.
We firmly believe every parent has the right to home school, to teach their children what, where, when and how they choose.
We are here so you can do that. Our slogan and firm belief is simply "Alabama Hope Academy is where you can focus on your home school and family, not your cover school."
We do not require any meetings, conference calls, attendance at field trips.
We want to support all home schoolers anyway we can. We are here when and if you need us, otherwise we stay out of your way. If you need info, support, or have any suggestions we are always here to help all we can. Please contact email@example.com
Are you ready to home school?
We would love to have you!
My name is Hope Frazier. I am located in DeKalb County, Al. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart of 9+ years, Jacob. Together we have two precious daughters, Khloe & Kenzie. We live to please our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I firmly believe you should always treat others, how you would want treated yourself. I am a christian, But I do not judge you for your religion, faith, or beliefs.
Alabama Hope Academy was founded on my behalf when I was just a child. My mother created this cover school so that I could home school, and that she could help others have a cover school that was supportive, reachable when needed, but allowed families to home school their children the way they chose.
After 18 year's of running AHA, my mother has retired, and in 2015 I became the new owner, and administrator. *2016 Edit * After one year of running AHA myself, I am very happy to announce, I think I have everything how I want it, finally! ( And once again, thank you to all of my wonderful members who have had such understanding, and patience with me this past school year, as I have had ups and downs with my servers, as to be expected with trying something new. But I truly appreciate you all! ) I am looking forward to the 2016/17 School year, and as always, would love to hear from you all! All feedback is greatly appreciated.
